YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota Senator John Thune says its critical for republicans to hang on to the filibuster in the Senate, but they do have some backup.

Thune says it’s hard for voters to hear what the important issue are.

Thune says the Supreme Court could soon be another check on the expansion of federal government powers.
