ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Meals through the Area IV Senior Nutrition are continuing to be served, however, because of the COVID-19 outbreak, they are being served in a bit different way.

Emily Richardt, Executive Director of Area IV, talked about the current situation.

Area IV covers a 13-county area including Brown, Campbell, Corson, Day, Edmunds, Faulk, Marshall, McPherson, Potter, Roberts, Spink, Sully and Walworth.

Richardt said volunteers have stepped up to help assure people receive their meals.

She said proper social distancing is a priority, so there is no longer any face-to-face contact with residents.
