SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- A Sioux Falls man is being held on a slew of charges after an alleged assault.

35-year old Terrence Whitehead is accused of assaulting another man, after the vehicle he was driving struck that man’s car on the city’s east side.

Officer Sam Clemens says the victim managed to get away, but followed Whitehead’s location and reported it to police.

Police discovered the car Whitehead was driving was stolen, and contained a syringe with traces of meth.

Whitehead was also out on parole on another offense at the time of this incident.
