WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- A 61-year-old Sioux Falls man was arrested and is charged with felony Domestic Aggravated Assault stemming from an incident on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, around 4:41 p.m. when Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Watertown 911 Dispatch Center reporting an assault had taken place at a cabin on Lake Poinsett.

Law enforcement received information an individual was injured, and the Lake Norden ambulance was dispatched. The person was later taken to the hospital to have their injuries evaluated.

61-year-old Jamie Schnider is incarcerated at the Codington County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash-only bond.

The Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office will continue investigating the incident.
