Sioux Falls Mayor talk about what they’ll do with COVID relief

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- Mayor Paul TenHaken says Sioux Falls will benefit long term from the federal money for COVID relief even though our economy stayed strong.

The Mayor says sending the money back would mean it’d just go to someone else. So TenHaken says Sioux Falls was able put the funds to use on special one time projects that will benefit the city and it’s citizens for years to come.

Mayor Paul TenHaken says results of the city’s growth are opportunities.

TenHaken says Sioux Falls has many great leaders willing to step up and help during this time of tremendous growth. He says we shouldn’t take them for granted because most cities don’t have that kind of support.
