Sioux Falls police encourages citizens to lock their vehicles

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- The city of Sioux Falls is spending $50-thousand dollars on a campaign telling people to lock their cars.

Now, it turns out, locking your car may not be enough.

Police Information officer Sam Clemens says several people have found their cars with broken windows and contents missing.

More than two dozen larcenies were reported to police this week.
