SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- Sioux Falls Police say they plan for the worst case scenario when putting together security plans for events like this coming Friday’s Parade of Lights.

Sunday night’s tragedy in Waukesha, Wisconsin is on their minds.

Lt. Andrew Siebenborn says the department dedicates considerable staffing to these events.

Siebenborn says the department has a number of officers who have experience with the parade.
