SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- Sioux Falls police have successfully defused their second armed standoff in the past week.

Police information officer Sam Clemens says a relative of two women living on East 38th street forced his way into the home early this morning.

Clemens says the victim threatened with the gun was able to get to a secure room and call police.

The situation ended with the man’s arrest at about 11 Thursday morning.
