SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- He intentionally shot himself in the foot.

The 19 year old man involved in a stand off last week was released from the hospital and now faces even more charges on his lengthy criminal record from 2023 alone.

Public Information officer Sam Clemens said SWAT was closing in on Jaedyn Davis for possession of stolen vehicles, then after the standoff.

Davis is facing several charges including kidnapping, assaulting law enforcement and violating a protection order.
