ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Annual Sizzlin Summer Nights event is set for this weekend in Aberdeen. The final downtown concert of the season is also part of the festivities.

Shelley Westra-Heier, Executive Director of the Aberdeen Downtown Association, talked about the details.

The car and bike show takes place on Saturday. Westra-Heier said around 175 vehicles normally participate with the number reaching 210 in recent years.

Kids and pets are welcome, coolers are not. Westra-Heier also reminded people to bring their lawn chairs.

A variety of food vendors will be setting up shop. The weekend’s festivities conclude with an organized exit and cruise route throughout the city.
