PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- It’s now officially a one-horse town at Pierre Regional Airport.  Airport Liaison to the Pierre Regional Airport Jamie Huizenga says SkyWest Airlines is officially beginning to cut back service from Pierre to Denver.

SkyWest lost the current Essential Air Service contract to Key Lime Air’s Denver Air Connection in July, but agreed to continue service through the end of the year in both Pierre and Watertown.

SkyWest attempting to retain the Essential Air Service contract with Aberdeen & Bemidji, MN.
