ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – From April 4 through April 17 the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored the Small Act – Big Impact gift card campaign to encourage gift card purchases from local Chamber member businesses. During this time, cards could be purchased online through the Chamber website. Another piece of the campaign was the radiothon on April 8, hosted by Hub City Radio. A group of community-minded businesses and individuals pooled together funds and matched purchases 2-for-1 for phone-in orders during the radiothon, up to $90,000.

We are pleased to announce the total amount raised was $274,000. The Chamber and Hub City Radio did not profit from this campaign, which means 100% of the gift card purchases was given back to local businesses.
