SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — New federal help is on the way for victims of the September tornadoes in Sioux Falls and the flooding in Madison and Mitchell.
A Small Business Administration Recovery Center opens in Sioux Falls on Thursday, Nov. 21. SBA Spokesman Corey Williams said anybody who had damage should come to the center.
Williams says the Recovery Center will offer a variety of specialized help, including loans with no closing costs and interest rates as low as 1.7 percent.
The Business Recovery Center is located at the SBA South Dakota District Office, 2329 North Career Avenue, Suite 105.
The Center opens at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, and then will be open Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The deadline for applying for property damage is Jan. 17, 2020, for economic injury Aug. 18, 2020.
The SBA center is opening as a result of President Donald Trump’s federal disaster declaration requested by Governor Kristi Noem.
