VIBORG, S.D.(WNAX)- Snow days are piling up for many school districts as winter hopefully winds down.

Viborg-Hurley Superintendent Brent Mellum says they have had lots of off days this year.

Mellum says they have used up all their scheduled snow days.

Mellum says they adjusted their calendar a few times this school year and may not be done.

Schools have to meet a certain number of instructional minutes not school days under state law.
