ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The annual South Dakota Snow Queen Festival takes place this weekend in Aberdeen.

A total of 25 contestants will come to the Hub City on Thursday. They will participate in a variety of events before the culminating coronation on Saturday night. Dawn Bremer, Vice President of the South Dakota Snow Queen Festival, provides the details.

Tickets are available at several Aberdeen businesses.

The pandemic has curtailed or altered some of the events that take place before the final coronation.

The Junior Snow Queen contest took place last Saturday and Bremer said things went well.
