ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Aberdeen Public Works Director Stu Nelson reviewed the snow removal procedures used by the city for the upcoming season.

The City of Aberdeen can start doing snow removal on emergency routes without notice when at least two inches are fallen.

Nelson reminds citizens where they can gain access for any snow removal alerts.

Once snow removal is alerted, the responsibility to ticket and tow vehicles is the Aberdeen Police Department.  Captain Tanner Jondhal describe what they do.

Reminder the fine if your vehicle is ticketed and towed to another street is seventy dollars.
