Minot, ND (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State University cross country teams took on the 2024 NSIC Championships on Saturday from the Souris Valley Golf Course. The Wolves men took ninth with an average 8k time of 25:26.0, while the women placed 12th with an average time of 23:44 in the 6k.
MEN’S HIGHLIGHTS
- Nathan Alto led the way for the men, taking 13th with a new school record time of 24:25.3
- Jacob Angerhofer was the second finishing Wolf in 33rd overall with a time of 25:15.4, followed by Evan Halbe with a time of 25:27.0 in 42nd
- Bailen Hayford and Jonathan Burkhalter rounded out the Wolves top-5 with times of 25:59.8 and 26:07.3
WOMEN’S HIGHLIGHTS
- Abby Hasart led the charge for NSU with a time of 22:38.2 in 42nd overall, followed by Emaleigh Olesiak with a time of 23:08.3 in 59th
- Summer Carlson and Alli Jackson ran to top-100 finishes with times of 23:44.9 and 23:54.3 respectively
- Payton Kemnitz rounded out the Wolves top-5 with a time of 25:18.3
