Sombke says E-30 part of helping economy and health

CONDE, S.D. (WNAX) – Renewable fuel supporters want the Trump administration to allow wider use of E-30 fuel. South Dakota Farmers Union President Doug Sombke says that higher blend is part of the answer to improving the rural economy as well as benefitting the health of all citizens.

He says Governor Kristi Noem has been an advocate for E-30 and while that’s helpful more needs to be done to advance that fuel.

Sombke says if they can get E-30 legalized the economic benefits to the state of South Dakota would be significant.

Sombke and Jim (sigh-ur) Seurer of Glacial Lakes Energy have written to both President Trump and Governor Noem asking for E-30 approval.
