ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Back in September, current South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley announced that he would be running for the U.S. House seat representing South Dakota.
Jackley took the time in Aberdeen to speak with KSDN to update us about his campaign.
Jackley talks the amount of support he’s received since announcing his run for the seat.
Jackley reported to the FEC that the campaign has raised over $500,00 for that.
Jackley was asked about the government shutdown that is currenty happening now in D.C.
Jackley previous ran for South Dakota Governor and lost to Kristi Noem back in 2018. Some people believed that he might take another crack at that seat. But he chose to run for the U.S. House instead and explains why.
