South Dakota Board of Regents waiving college application fees to designated post-secondary schools through Nov. 30

PIERRE, S.D. (DRGNews) – High School students in South Dakota have until Thursday (Nov. 30, 2023) to submit an application for admission to the state’s public universities and technical colleges, free of charge.

South Dakota Board of Regents Executive Director Nathan Lukkes (lucas) says the free application period is the perfect opportunity for students to check out all that public higher education institutions in the state have to offer.

Secretary of Education Joseph Graves says they want high school seniors to know they have a range of opportunities for careers and post-secondary education. He says the free application period is one way to get students exploring options in their home state.
