PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota lawmakers wrapped up the main run of the 2022 session last week with a long day on Thursday to approve the budget.
Dave Owen, President of the State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a long time observer of the legislature, says this session had twists and turns.
Owen says the extra money had an impact.
Owen says there were definite differences of opinion between Governor Kristi Noem and republican legislators.
Legislators return for the final day of the session on March 28th.
