HURON, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- While the first day of fall is a few weeks off, summer is not quite done.

South Dakota State Climatologist Laura Edwards says it has been warm for a while.

Edwards says its also been a dry summer.

Precipitation in Aberdeen has been close to normal this season.

Edwards says weather should cooperate for the start of the fall harvest.

Edwards says chances of an early frost look pretty slim right now.
