PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- South Dakota’s Division of Criminal Investigation is helping to untangle 15 years worth of Colorado Crime Lab work.

A former Colorado crime lab scientist is accused of mishandling DNA testing in 650 cases.

Attorney General Marty Jackley says South Dakota’s crime lab has a strong national reputation and was asked to review those cases.

Jackley says no South Dakota cases affected by the review.
