ABERDEEN, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- The South Dakota Farmers Union will do their yearly Fly-In at Washington, D.C.  The Fly-In will take place on Tuesday through Thursday September 14th through the 16th.

The Senate Ag Committee is expected to vote that week on the update Farm Bill.

President of the South Dakota Farmers Union, Doug Sombke talked about what issues they want to raise with members in Congress.

Sombke talked about how important to address safety nets for the ag industry and to get the tariffs right especially in the beef market.

Another issue that they want to see address is making sure E15 fuel is sold year round in the country.

Sombke also expressed the need for MCOOL(Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling).
