HURON, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- President of the South Dakota Farmers Union, Doug Sombke announced that they are the group hosting the Governor’s debate coming up at this year’s South Dakota State Fair.

The theme will be agriculture.

The candidates are the incumbent Governor Larry Rhoden(R) and challenger Dan Ahlers(D).  The debate will take place Saturday, September 5th beginning at 1pm at the Freedom Tent.
