PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Commission has tabled action on removing non-resident one-day fishing licenses.  G-F-and-P Director of Wildlife Tom Kirschenmann says delaying action from the October meeting to the November meeting helped create more discussion on the issue.

Kirschenmann says a meeting with stakeholders may have set a new course for the topic.

Kirschenmann says there is plenty of time to develop the concept of limiting one-day non-resident fishing licenses.

The Commission accepted the recommendation to table a decision on the future of the one-day, non-resident fishing license.  That mean there is no change for now in the status of that license.
