PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department is working to find an operator of the Spring Creek Resort restaurant along the east shore of Lake Oahe. Director of Parks and Recreation Scott Simpson says his department operates the marina and cabin rentals and the missing piece is the restaurant.
The Game, Fish and Parks Department provided everything needed to run a restaurant, but the next contract, Simpson says will have some changes.
G-F and P Commissioner Russ Olsen asked about the state providing a lodging possibility for the next concessionaire.
Frost Enterprises of Onida is currently operating the Spring Creek Resort restaurant. Proposals are due by eight AM on Monday, October 4th.
