South Dakota hospital asking the public’s help against COVID

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(WNAX)- Hospital officials are asking for the public’s help in attempting to slow the spread of Covid-19 infections.

Sanford Health’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr Mike Wilde says he has been working on the Covid-19 floor at their Sioux Falls hospital.

Wilde says vaccinations are the best way to slow the spread.

He says their facility has been near capacity for some time.

Both Sanford and Avera Health are preparing for another surge in patients in the next couple of weeks.
