PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The South Dakota House debated SB201.  The bill prohibit contributions and loans from an authorized committee of a candidate for federal office.

Speaking in favor of the bill was Representative Spencer Gosch of Glenham.

Opposing the bill was Representative Will Mortenson who feels this will negatively impact those currently serving in Washington representing the state.

The bill was defeated on a 38-32 vote.
