South Dakota House passes HB1097

PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- A bill to to allow ground ambulances connected to air ambulance services passed the South Dakota House Tuesday.  District 26-A Representative Eric Emery offered an amendment he says would clarify the bill.

The bill’s sponsor, District Six Representative Ernie Otten of Tea urged the House to defeat the amendment.

Emery’s amendment failed.  On the bill, District 13 Representative Tony Venhuizen says bill needs to go father.

The House of Representatives sent H-B 1097 to the Senate on a 57 to 11 vote.
