PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The South Dakota House discussed SB70 on Wednesday.  The bill make an appropriation for the replacement of the Richmond Lake dam and spillway, for the general maintenance and repair of other state-owned dams, and to declare an emergency.

Prime sponsor was the Department of School & Public Lands.  Representative Ernie Otten of Tea spoke in favor of the bill.

The bill passed on a 69-0 vote.  It now heads to the Governor’s desk.
