South Dakota House puts two pipeline-related bills to Conference Committees

PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Tuesday, the South Dakota House didn’t concur but recommended conference committee on two pipeline-related bills that were amended by the South Dakota Senate.

House Majority Leader Will Mortenson talks about HB1185 and what the House passed.

Mortenson talks about what the Senate amended that he didn’t agree to.

Mortenson also prime sponsored HB1186 and talked about what the Senate did to that bill that he disagree with.

Mortenson express concerns with the eminent domain if the Senate’s version is passed.

The South Dakota House didn’t concur but sent them to conference committees on identical 63-6 votes.  Both bills along with SB201 will be heard Wednesday at 9am.  Representatives Will Mortenson, Oren Leismeister, & Scott Moore will make up the committee for the House.  Senators Casey Crabtree, David Johnson, & David Wheeler will represent the Senate.
