PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The South Dakota House voted on HB1026.  The bill make an appropriation for the replacement of the Richmond Lake dam and spillway, for the general maintenance and repair of other state-owned dams, and to declare an emergency.

Representative Al Novstrup of Aberdeen talked about why this was needed for the Richmond Lake Dam.

the bill passed on a unanimous 70-0 vote and now move on to the South Dakota Senate.
