PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- A bill hoghoused in the South Dakota Senate would have given home owners a four hundred twenty five dollar credit on their property tax bills. It was sent to a conference committee with the House.

Majority Leader Will Mortenson of Pierre says the conference committee took care of it.

Mortenson asked the House to sustain the action of the conference committee.

The House then voted sixty-five to five to kill the proposal.
