South Dakota Legislature looking to setup a summer study to deal with daycare

PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- It appears that any major discussion about daycare in South Dakota may have to wait until summer.

Senate Majority Leader Casey Crabtree of Madison says they know it’s a problem.

Crabtree says that and other issues could move to summer studies.

Crabtree says workforce shortages is the driving factor.

Finding daycare space is a critical issue for many young parents.
