PIERRE, S.D.(KJJQ)- South Dakota Lottery revenues are up slightly in fiscal year 2023.
Lottery Executive Director Norm Lingle presented the numbers to the South Dakota Lottery Commission at their quarterly meeting last week in Pierre. The lottery is transferring nearly 182-million dollars to the state.
Lingle says video lottery accounts for the largest portion of the transfer.
He had been anticipating a dip in video lottery revenue.
Lingle noted that these are unofficial numbers but will likely be very close to the final, audited totals.
