South Dakota Railroad Board to hold public meetings to discuss their rail plans

PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The South Dakota Railroad Board will hold public meetings to lay out the state rail plan and look for input.

Deputy Transportation Department Secretary Jack Dokken says they have been working on the plan for some time.

Dokken says there are a lot of groups involved in the process.

Dokken says they want to hear from businesses and the public about the state rail plan.

The meetings will be in Sioux Falls next Monday, the 28th, Mitchell on March first, Aberdeen on March second and Rapid City on March third.
