South Dakota Treasurer express concerns about possible default on the debt crisis

PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- With no agreement yet in site between Congress and the White House over the federal debt ceiling, there is concern about the spillover effects.

South Dakota State Treasurer Josh Haeder says its hard to know all the impacts.

Haeder says no one knows what could really happen.

South Dakota has a “Triple A” bond rating and Haeder is concerned about the trickle down effect of a federal default.

The US Treasury Department has warned they may run out of cash as soon as Thursday.
