BROOKINGS, S.D. (WNAX) – While the official numbers will be released later this month, most universities in South Dakota are anticipating lower enrollments this year.
South Dakota State University President Barry Dunn says it has been a struggle attracting students over the last few years.
Dunn says they are very concerned about a drop in ag classes.
Dunn says young people need to know about the good careers available in ag related fields.
SDSU’s enrollment was just over 12,100 last fall.
