Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive coming up Saturday

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Coming up this Saturday the Aberdeen Postal Service in conjunction with the United Way of NorthEast South Dakota are doing their food drive to help the community.  This year marks the 31st anniversary the NALC(National Association of Letter Carriers) has been doing this across the country.

Communications & Impact Coordinator for United Way, Angie Cleberg talks about where the food will be going to here in Aberdeen.

Prior to Saturday, Cleberg talks about locations that citizens can drop off non-perishable food.

Cleberg talks about how many pounds of food the drive delivered last year and hope to get this year.

Letter Carrier Dan Brockner talks about if you’re not able to drop off food Saturday when mail arrives, that they will pick it up early next week.

Brockner is grateful for the kindness of the citizens of Aberdeen.
