In an elimination game on Monday in Redfield in the State B legion baseball tournament, the Tabor Legion Post 183 squad clipped Redfield Post 92, 5-3 to eliminate the host squad. Redfield took a 3-0 lead going into the bottom of the 5th, but Post 183 would drop a five spot in the bottom of the frame & that would be the difference in the game. Despite only three hits, Tabor was able to pick up the win. Post 92 only scratched out three hits, Keaton Rohfls hit a 2-RBI double in the 5th inning for both RBI’s for Redfield.
With the win, Tabor Post 183 advances to championship Tuesday where they’ll take on Elk-Point Jefferson at 1p. EPJ defeated Dell Rapids in 9-innings, 5-4. The winner of that contest will get Dells in the championship game.
