PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota legislators will have to finalize spending and the budget in the next couple of weeks.
Representative Linda Duba of Sioux Falls says while the state is flush with cash now, it won’t last.
Duba, a member of the Joint Committee on Appropriations, says those federal dollars are not ongoing.
Duba says legislators have to recognize that revenues in the next few years won’t be as strong as they are now.
The budget has to be approved by the final day of the main run on March 10th.
