State of South Dakota setting up another coronavirus relief fund for small businesses

PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The State of South Dakota set up a coronavirus relief fund for small businesses and nonprofits to help them through the worst of the pandemic.

The South Dakota Retailers Association got a grant of $175,000.

Executive Director Nathan Sanderson says they lost a big chunk of income during the pandemic.

Sanderson says some small businesses have done better than others.

Sanderson says the Association was not going away.

The relief fund has awarded over 26 million dollars in grants so far.
