ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – When the Special Session of the Legislature takes place on Monday, state officials should be well prepared to discuss funding from the CARES Act.
Representative Carl Perry of Aberdeen said from what he can gather, plans are in place to forgive all of the Payment Protection Plan loans that were handed out earlier this year.
Most of the money is already allocated and must be used by the end of the year.
Perry said some of the money would include grants to qualifying businesses.
He said that a lot of preparation has gone into Monday’s Special Session with various committees putting in hours to come up with a solid plan.
