ABERDEEN, S.D. (aberdeennews.com) – There’s been a second death in the state from COVID-19 — in Beadle County, according to updated information from the South Dakota Department of Health,
South Dakota has 21 new cases, pushing the statewide total to 129. There was one new case in Brown County with no new cases in Codington.
The numbers doesn’t include tests pending in private labs or people with symptoms who are not being tested.
State Epidemiologist Josh Clayton said during a news conference Wednesday that none of the new cases involve people who are hospitalized.
Fifty-one people have recovered from the virus, per the state.
Brown County now has four confirmed cases, with two of the patients having recovered. Codington County has five cases with two people recovered, according to the Department of Health.
