SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota legislators will study county and regional jails this summer as one of their interim committees.

Senator Jim Stalzer of Sioux Falls will chair that committee.

Stalzer says he isn’t sure if they will work toward incentives to help counties work together.

Stalzer says they want to hear what the issues are for many counties.

Stalzer says the legislatures Executive Board will fill out the roster for the committees at their meeting later this month.
