YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Tourism in South Dakota is big business, with visitors spending over four billion dollars in last year’s record numbers.

Carmen Schramm of Yankton is Chair of the state Tourism Advisory Board and says the update they got shows some concerns.

Schramm says last year was a big rebound year.

Schramm says the future indicators they are watching are still very good.

Schramm says the new multiple marketing plans adopted by the state tourism department are very targeted.
