State Treasurer sees signs of distress

PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – Helping people understand and how to best use their money is a goal of South Dakota State Treasurer Josh Haeder.

He says he sees distress signs all around.

Haeder says he originally wanted to work with kids in school, but has expanded the target group.

Haeder says it has to be a long term program.

Haeder says he had a bill introduced in the legislature this year, but with drew it instead to focus on adding and improving programs on his offices website.
