OMAHA, Neb. (WNAX) – The Corps of Engineers says releases and levels along the Missouri River will stay high for some time.
John Remus, Chief of the Water Management Office for the Corps in Omaha says there is still a lot of water to move.
Remus says they may not make their normal target date.
Remus says they are looking at lower reservoir levels to start the next run off season.
Remus says total system storage is hovering at just over 68 million acre feet.
