ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – On Thursday, June 4, at 7:11 p.m., Aberdeen Fire Rescue responded to a structure that had received damaged due to a severe storm which had passed through Aberdeen. The structure was a multi-family apartment building located at 303 North 4th Street.
On arrival crews found damage to the roof of the apartment building. The roof damage was assessed along with the water damage to all three floors of the apartment building. All occupants of the ten-unit apartment building were displaced. Fire crews were on scene for about 2 hours. The Red Cross is assisting the displaced occupants. There were no occupant or firefighter injuries.
